We hope that this finds you well and in good spirit. While our team has been safely self-isolating at home, we have been monitoring the news for updates and guidance. At this time, we have decided to wait another week, and our hopeful plan is to Re-Open the doors to our Staples Mill Road office on Monday, April 6th.
For those patients with scheduled appointments next week, we will be contacting you to re-schedule. Certainly if there is any change in our plans going forward we will communicate that to you via email, our website, and by phone.
We are very optimistic and have been communicating with our team and making plans for our return to the office. We will be re-opening with limited scheduling and added precautions in place to protect you and our staff. These changes will minimize the number the people in the building, enforcing social distancing in our large open spaces. Additional restrictions will be used to screen all patients…including age, health concerns, travel restrictions from not only any overseas travel…but any travel to identified “hot spots” in the US. (The West Coast, New York, New Orleans.) We will maintain our Standard Universal Precautions and rigorous cleaning procedures in-between each patient visit, as well as our implemented extra precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
A full list of detailed restrictions and precautions
will be emailed and posted online prior to our re-opening.
In the event that attending treatment in person is not right for you, we are now able to offer TELEHEALTH/E*visits. Medicare and a number of large commercial insurance companies have approved this digital communication alternative for physical therapy. This will allow patients to work with their physical therapist via audio + visual. Using platforms such as Skype, Zoom, and Facetime are permitted during the COVID 19 national emergency. We feel that this will be a great option to utilize with certain patients during this time period of self-isolation. If you are interested in setting up an E*visit or learning more, please feel free to call our office 804-523-2653. Your therapist may be in touch with you to “check-in” and see how you are doing. Please feel free to ask them about this option as well.
Our therapist definitely miss seeing you and treating you in the office. We are working on making a variety of options available to reconnect you with your therapist as soon as possible, so that you can continue to receive the care that you need and see the benefits of great physical therapy!
Please know that we are here for you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact our office at 804-523-2653 or email email@example.com.
